Who We Are Our Members
Our forward-thinking utility members lead and direct UTD as a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization to help their 37+ million natural gas customers make an affordable transition to a lower-carbon future while retaining energy reliability, resiliency, economy and customer choice. Each member allocates their individual resources to specific UTD research efforts that directly benefit their own customers, but all members share the results of all UTD efforts.

Join Us
UTD’s public-private coordinated R&D efforts are highly effective and efficient, but energy end-use challenges and opportunities are very great. We encourage additional utilities to join UTD to address significant environmental challenges through innovative solutions while supporting economical, resilient, reliable service for their customers.
